The way we treat our employees is important to us. Because we believe that if we treat our employees well, they will treat our customers well. And that helps to create a successful business.

As a family-run enterprise, we are open, empathetic, supportive, approachable and caring. These values are reflected in the relationship between our Directors and our teams. We believe in a leadership style that fosters positive thinking, encourages people to do their best and that gives people support when they need it.

We call it feeling like more than just a number. We’re not a huge financial corporation (and we don’t aspire to world domination!). So we can concentrate on making sure we treat people as individuals, make every team member feel valued and recognise the contribution that each person makes.

It works for us.

It works in the wider community too. As a business, we think it’s important that we’re here to do more than simply make a profit. So we also get involved in good causes, including the ‘Right to Read’ scheme, which helps local children to develop their reading skills during the school year. For many of our people, it’s another really good reason to do what they do.
